Clinical Effectiveness
Clinical Effectiveness is ensuring that the care we provide is based on our staff having accurate and reliable information from varied current research thus enabling them to know the right thing to do, to the right patient, at the right time and then putting this into their clinical practice.
We are be committed to delivering care which is based on robust evidence provided by:
- Current Research
- National Service Framework for Mental Illness
- National Service Framework for Older People
- National Institute of Clinical Excellence Guidelines
- Clinical Care Pathways, Guidelines and Protocols
It is a priority to ensure that all our staff will have access to 'clinical effectiveness information' and opportunities to discuss and review critical information and guidelines on clinical practice. Staff will be able to access the latest on-line library facilities and clinical journals.
