Our clinical approach is based on active treatment and rehabilitation and the belief that positive change can be achieved for all individuals in our care.
The clinical services at Pinetree Court are provided within the framework of Clinical Governance and involving patients in their care.
Pinetree Court has its own experienced and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team consisting of:
- Psychiatry - our Consultant Psychiatrists are based on site
- Nursing (RMNLD, RMN)
- Clinical Psychology
- Occupational Therapy
- Nutritionist
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
The patient's progress and clinical issues are explored and discussed at regular Multi- Disciplinary Team Meetings. An extensive range of individual and group therapeutic interventions are offered to meet patient need based on NICE guidelines and clinical effectiveness. Individuals are also able to access a range of complementary therapies as deemed appropriate by the multi-disciplinary clinical team. Physical health needs are addressed by access to primary healthcare services and community based services for chiropody and dentistry.
Overall progress and future needs are reviewed formally with purchasers and families through regular Care Programme Approach (CPA) reviews.
